A beautiful end came to the carving of Rowena. Sharon Rolf presented me with a beautiful card with a mermaid drawn on the front in brillant colors, which flowed into the inside. The card was a birthday card to Rowena. The verse shared how the mermaid wore a crystal that made it possible for the her to cast spell binding magic.
After opening the card, which was a delight in itself, I opened the special box wrapped in a silver bow. Sharon had given me a crystal shaped like a seashell. It had a silver adorned loop that connected it to a beautiful smooth silver chain. The crystal is a brillant aqua marine color that is just gorgeous. ( Osborne Jewelers, in Athens, Alabama).
